Tonkin + Taylor (T+T) is seeking a highly-motivated **Discipline Manager - Engineering (Victoria)**. This person will work closely with the Discipline Director -Engineering (Australia) to help drive and shape our growing Engineering team, with a specific focus on the Victorian remit. This is a full-time senior strategic position based in our Melbourne office.

We are looking for someone with strong people and client management skills, combined with business acumen and solid technical skills in the geotechnical engineering space. To be successful in this position, you will have the proven ability to establish new business, build client relationships, and motivate your team. Your ability at the strategic level with both clients and within T+T will be important.

- Lead, shape, and develop a growing Engineering team
- Play a part in shaping and driving the growth of T+T's business in Victoria
- Take ownership of and deliver projects with a high level of responsibility
- Broaden your experience and work with a variety of other disciplines

- A tertiary qualification in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or similar
- 10+ years' experience in a Geotechnical Engineering consultancy
- The ability to identify emerging business trends and market opportunities
- A strong knowledge of the Victorian market with demonstrated ability to develop and sustain long-term client relationships
- Excellent people management and interpersonal skills
- Superb communication skills, including a passion for engaging with clients and other industry stakeholders
