**About the position**
The Coordinator Procurement and Contracts is a permanent full-time position responsible for maintaining currency of and compliance with Council’s Procurement Policies and Framework. The Coordinator Procurement and Contracts implements procurement training for the organisation, provides advice and guidance to staff on procurement planning, sourcing and managing contracts in line with Council policies.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain Council’s Procurement Policy Framework in line with legislation and best practice
- Provide strategic advice on procurement planning, sourcing, and contract management
- Coordinate tendering activities to ensure compliance with Council policies and legislation
- Support WHS and insurance compliance for contractors in collaboration with the WHS Advisor
- Identify, report, and mitigate procurement risks across Council
- Review procurement systems and recommend improvements to support efficiency and compliance

**About you**
- Tertiary qualifications or extensive experience relevant to procurement and contract management
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence
- Experience in strategic planning activities for procurement and/or contract management planning
- Strong contract management skills and ability to provide informed procurement advice
- High ethical standards with the ability to manage confidential information
**What we offer**
- Permanent full time, 35 hours per week
- Salary from $_90,633_ to $_106,625_ per year (depending on qualifications, skills and experience) plus 11.5% superannuation
