About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Payroll Officer to join the team at Macquarie Park on a full-time basis. You will be joining a great team with a supportive manager with genuine career prospects on offer. This role will offer a hybrid working environment with up to 2 days working from home.
You will be responsible for processing various payrolls which could be weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Your proven ability to provide excellent and proactive customer service is what we are looking for.
Essential Skills and Experience
- In-depth knowledge of payroll activities
- Clear understanding of Taxation, Superannuation, terminations and other legislative requirements
- Ability to interpret multiple complex EBA's, Awards, CA', individual agreements and policies
- A meticulous eye for detail and accuracy
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with an innovative and creative approach
- excellent communication skills - both written and oral
- Analysis and resolve payroll queries accurately and in a timely manner
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated and willing to take ownership to ensure the best customer experience

Desirable Skills and Experience
- SAP payroll experience desirable
- Kronos or other T&A system knowledge is desirable;
- proven experience managing multiple complex payrolls
- New Zealand payroll and legislative experience advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Previously worked on payroll improvement project
