About the role:
As a Disability Support Worker you'll provide individualised support to people with disabilities across a range of settings, including supported independent living, in-home care and community participation based across **South Lake, Bayswater and Armadale.** You'll help our clients build independence, reach their goals and maintain their wellbeing in everyday life.

What you'll be doing:

- Provide support to clients with physical and/or intellectual disabilities
- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, medication support, meal preparation and household tasks such as cleaning and shopping
- Support community participation (appointments, activities and outings)
- Follow individualised support plans and behaviour support strategies
- Maintain accurate progress notes and incident reporting
- Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and legislative requirements
- Foster independence, dignity and respect in every interaction

What we are looking for:

- Experience working within a residential setting and/or working with people with a disability
- Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support or a related field (prefered)
- Must have full Australian working rights (essential)
- Current NDIS screening check
- Current CPR
- Working with Children Check
- Valid Australian drivers license
- Police Clearance (less than 6 months)

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
