Retaining Wall Systems Qld are seeking a Senior Site Foreman to serve as the primary daily on-site representative for our company and it's site team. This role involves collaborating closely with the Senior Projects Management Team to review and interpret plans, understand project scopes, and effectively plan, prepare, procure, and deliver a variety of retaining wall projects on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze project requirements to determine necessary team size for labor production, material procurement, handling, and high-risk work activities, and discuss findings with Divisional Managers.
- Motivates the RWS Site Team and Communicates daily activities.
- Report to the Senior Projects Supervisor and, ultimately, Senior Management.
- Coordinate daily activities across one or more work sites.
- Record productivity metrics on a daily basis.
- Conduct pre-inspections of sites and engage in forward planning.
- Manage material and equipment orders.
- Oversee subcontractor engagement, planning, and supervision.
- Ensure safety supervision and maintain documentation related to safety protocols.
- Implement quality control measures and record findings.
- Manage plant operations effectively.
- Review contract documents to assess scope, risks, and complexity, providing feedback to the Senior Team.
- Calculate and prepare project quantities in collaboration with the Senior Team.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients regarding the progress of work.

Essential Skills:
- Results-driven with a methodical and disciplined approach.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in identifying buildability issues.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Well-organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Current driver’s license is preferred.
- Willingness to work in a hands-on environment.
- A Team Player.
