**The Role**
As a Project Scheduler in the Navy Army Aviation Program Office (NA3PO), you will be required to work as a member of a team to provide complex planning and scheduling work within an integrated APS and contractor workforce.
You will be accountable to develop and maintain project and program planning activities, coordinate project and program performance, develop and implement project and program briefs and reports using a range of tools and techniques. You will develop, coordinate and maintain project and program planning activities, assist with developing and implementing planning and scheduling business rules and processes. You will provide assistance and guidance in planning and scheduling policies and procedures to achieve continuous improvement in accordance with policies and procedures.
You will work with stakeholders to understand their requirements and concerns to allow them to meet business requirements and objective whilst adhering to legislation, policies and procedures.
**About our Team**
NA3PO was established in 2019 as the primary acquisition agency supporting both Army Aviation Systems (AAS) and Navy Aviation, Aircrew Training and Commons (NATC) branches within the Rotary, Aerospace and Surveillance Systems Division (RASSD). We manage and deliver the acquisition of high value and complex military rotary wing, tactical unmanned aerial systems, pilot and aircrew training systems for the ADF.
NA3PO aims to leverage the advantages of a consolidated organisation to improve cross service collaboration and integration between Navy, Army and Air Force Programs and realise functional efficiencies through streamlined processes and practices in support of capability delivery as projects proceed through their life cycle.
NA3PO is looking for someone who is highly motivated and can work independently with opportunity for reasonable autonomy and accountability. You will have an understanding of project scheduling policy, processes and tools and be able to recommend and implement (if required) to enable the project office to align with the program’s strategic objectives.
You will have demonstrated experience in project scheduling. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and be comfortable with networking with a variety of stakeholders whilst building and sustaining key working relationships.
You will undertake your role in accordance with legislation and Defence policies and procedures. You will exercise good judgement, demonstrate initiative and have a focus on continuous improvement.
