An opportunity exists for an experienced digital product commercialisation expert to join the Sales organisation within Nine. The role of Product Commercialisation Manager - Digital Audio has the responsibility of overseeing digital sales and advertising products for Nine Radio’s portfolio of News Talk and Music websites and apps as well as emerging digital audio products across the broader Nine business.

As an all-rounder, in this diverse role your primary function will be to create profitable, quality, relevant and timely digital led commercial solutions for our Radio division as well as a focus on digital audio led solutions across the broader Nine digital business with the purpose of driving revenue generation through the Sales and Nine Powered teams

The Product Commercialisation Manager - Nine Radio and Digital Audio plays an important role in shaping Nine’s advertising capabilities & offering for its portfolio of websites, apps and audio content libraries.

The role reports to the Director of Product Commercialisation and sits within the digital sales organisation at Nine.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Be the expert in digital audio marketing solutions for Nine’s sales team and clients.
- Identify opportunities to improve commercialisation of Nine’s digital assets through digital audio led initiatives such as developing Nine’s addressable radio product capability and proposition and establishing a holistic podcasting commercialisation strategy across the Nine group as well as continuing to further develop advertising products across Nine radio websites and apps.
- Continuously evolve Nine’s digital audio proposition to ensure it delivers on advertiser and agency needs and remains market leading.
- Partner with the Head of Digital Audio and a diverse set of stakeholders across Sales, Nine Powered, Studios, Campaign Operations, Pricing & Inventory, Product and Editorial to design and manage the roll out plan for new digital audio led products including; defining product requirements, working with Ad Technology and Studios to deliver them, providing input into pricing decisions, establishing product business rules, embedding operational workflows, and training stakeholders.
- Work with Trade Marketing and Nine Powered to produce product-specific go-to-market materials that defines core strengths of Nine’s digital audio led products and positions them effectively in market.
- Partner with the Head of Digital Audio, Editorial, Product and Content Partnerships teams to develop commercially viable podcast series and support the sales effort to commercialise them.
- Work closely with Commercial Partnerships and Studios to create commercial packages and sales collateral for existing and new podcast solutions.
- Be the point person for Sales around ideas for new digital audio led products; work with P&I, ad tech and Studios to assess their viability; and incorporate into the roadmap where appropriate.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the digital audio advertising market, local and international trends, buyer strategies and competitor offerings; and develop actionable insights that can be used to shape future decisions around the digital audio product portfolio.
- Source, onboard and manage the commercial relationships with new digital audio vendors to strengthen Nine’s digital audio based offering where appropriate.
- Support the Director of Product Commercialisation with digital audio led revenue strategies that feed into the commercial product roadmap.
- Contribute to annual budget setting and provide ongoing Nine Radio and digital audio revenue forecasting into the business.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in sales and commercial roles in digital media with sound knowledge of the digital audio advertising market.
- Proven track record in consistently delivering revenue budgets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to craft compelling sales stories and present in front of a large audience.
- Technical background is desired but not necessary.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Passion for digital advertising.
