Our Federal Government client is seeking an
**APS6 Project Officer** to perform administrative tasks, project management and contract management services.

**About the role**:

- Undertake various project management tasks in the procurement of service delivery contracts and capital investment projects
- Assist in the engagement and management of external contractors
- Assist in the provision of financial reporting
- Review contract documentation and assist in contract negotiations and final contract execution
- Provide administrative support to projects
- Conduct procurements using Department templates and/or Commonwealth templates

**Ideally, you will have**:

- Client-side project management experience
- Sound understanding of project finances - management and reporting
- Ability to produce work requiring little or no revision before finalisation
- Demonstrated ability to develop productive working relationships
- Sound understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules
