Westbourne Grammar is launching an innovative Middle School in 2026, catering to students in Years 5-8. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting new chapter in our school’s history.

As a key member of the Middle School Leadership Team, the Head of Teaching and Learning - Middle School will lead the educational vision, curriculum design, and pedagogical practices for Years 5-8. This pivotal role fosters an engaging and supportive learning environment, helping students develop as independent thinkers, ethical decision-makers, and confident young people.

This role champions student voice, democratic classrooms, and inquiry-based learning while integrating critical thinking, collaboration, and interdisciplinary connections. The goal is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and mindsets needed to thrive in an ever-changing world.

This is a full-time (FTE 1.0) role, comprising FTE 0.6 leadership and 0.4 FTE teaching accountabilities.
