As a talented and motivated Part-Time Cyber Security Data Analyst you will utilise Power BI to gather and analyse data from diverse sources, including Sentinel and Qualys. In this role, you will work closely with our cyber security team to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities, contributing to the continuous improvement of our cyber defence capabilities.

This is a part-time position, requiring your availability for three days per week, providing you with flexibility alongside your other commitments. This is a permanent position.

The responsibilities of your new role:

- Utilise Power BI to gather and analyse security data from multiple sources, including Sentinel and Qualys.
- Identify patterns and trends in security-related data to detect potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with the cyber security team to develop proactive measures to strengthen our cyber defence strategies.
- Generate comprehensive reports and visualisations to communicate insights and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends, industry best practices, and emerging threats.

What you will have:

- Proven experience as a data analyst, preferably in the field of cyber security with strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency in Power BI and experience in extracting and analysing data from diverse sources.
- Familiarity with security information and event management (SIEM) systems, such as Sentinel, and vulnerability management tools, like Qualys.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills and effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with cyber security principles and practices is preferred.
