The Opportunity:
Delaware North Australia is hiring a a dedicated **Kitchen Steward** to join our vibrant culinary team at **Parklands Café**. As a Kitchen Steward, you'll be essential in maintaining cleanliness, order, and efficiency in the kitchen, ensuring smooth operations. You’ll also use basic cooking skills and have a strong grasp of kitchen safety practices.

What you will do?:

- Assist with preparing food in a commercial kitchen, ensuring it’s presented beautifully.
- Keep the kitchen area clean and maintain high hygiene standards.
- Follow WHS guidelines, manage Food Safety, and conduct temperature and quality checks.
- Assist kitchen staff in maintaining an organised and efficient workspace.
- Perform cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, and waste management.

More about you:

- Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward/Attendant is desirable.
- Food Safety Certificate or willingness to obtain during onboarding.
- Strong communication skills.
- Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible with shifts, available to work mornings, days, and nights, including weekends.
