We're currently seeking an enthusiastic and creative Commis Chef to become a key part of the Cooee Café & Restaurant team, contributing to a dynamic kitchen environment and helping shape an exceptional dining experience.

Minnippi Golf & Range is a brand-new 18-hole golf course and driving range that opened in September 2023, with our newly constructed 150 seater restaurant Cooee due to open late January, all only 15 minutes from the CBD of Brisbane, Queensland

We have a position available for an enthusiastic and creative Sous Chef to join our team and support a multi-talented team in our kitchen and hit the ground running and live up to the culture and values of Clublinks.

Cooee Café & Restaurant has been designed to provide the community with a fresh, modern, family friendly space to connect over coffee, drinks, lunch, and dinner only 15 minutes from the CBD. With a focus on locally sourced produce, the aim is to offer a quality driven contemporary family friendly bistro style menu; within a stylish outdoor setting licensed for 150 people and open 7 days a week. This adaptable and relaxed venue will be a sought-after destination for the local community and avid golfers from all around Brisbane and we are looking for a new team of "Happy Experts" to deliver an outstanding food & beverage offering.

Kitchen Operations

• Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily food production and maintaining consistent, high-quality output
• Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation and cleaning tasks
• Maintain existing food concepts and ensure profitability and quality
• Uphold sanitation standards, including proper waste separation
• Monitor kitchen equipment for cleanliness and functionality

Maintenance & Cleanliness

• Ensure the kitchen remains safe, clean, and operational at all times
• Assist with preventative maintenance and asset management
• Maintain daily housekeeping standards

• 1+ years' experience in a similar role within hospitality, entertainment, or recreation
• Food Safety Supervisor certification
• Experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Understanding of food safety and WHS practices
• Reliable, punctual, and proactive
• Current First Aid certification & National Police Check
