The ED Testing Chapter is an integral part of the Enterprise Delivery Practice, which drives the delivery of key strategic initiatives to make the Suncorp ambition a reality. We are a growing team of Test Managers, Test Leads and Test Analysts that work closely with business, technology and project teams across the organisation. Our key accountabilities are end-to-end test governance across all test phases and business testing including Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) and Production Verification Testing (PVT).

**About the role**:
As a Test Analyst in the ED Testing Chapter, you will be placed on projects and be responsible for work closely with our Test Leads and Test Managers to plan, co-ordinate and execute all BAT and PVT testing activities, which will be managed using Agile delivery methodologies. You will have exposure to a variety of business and technology domains and drive engagement with business stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes are delivered to meet our customer needs.

The initial project you will be placed on the Digital Insurer Program / Policy Transformation Program. The program is focused on delivering simplified business and technology solutions to provide improved customer experiences and enabling an increased pace of innovation.

**What you’ll do**:

- **Test Planning**: Collaborate on test strategies, develop detailed test cases, and work with automated testing tools. Manage test environments and track defects using tools like Jira and Zephyr.
- **Governance & Risk Management**:Maintain thorough documentation of testing activities, ensure compliance with standards, and contribute to risk mitigation efforts. Prepare reports and metrics to communicate progress and software quality to stakeholders.
- **Test Execution**: Lead and participate in all aspects of Business Acceptance Testing (BAT), Production Verification Testing (PVT), and Disaster Recovery (DR). Track test case execution and manage defect resolution, ensuring timely delivery.
- **Stakeholder Management**: Work closely with test managers, developers, vendors, and other stakeholders to align on goals and ensure smooth project delivery. Support reporting and sign-off processes.
- **Team Culture**: Foster a positive work environment, contribute to team-building initiatives, and continuously develop your skills in alignment with the latest tools and frameworks.

**What you’ll bring**:

- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level Certification (CTFL) - desired
- ICAgile Certified Professional - Agile Test Automation (ICP-ATA) - desired
- Degree in Business or IT related discipline - desired
- Agile Fundamentals - ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP) or similar - desired

**_Experience (minimum type and level of experience required to perform the role)_**
- Minimum 2 years Insurance Industry experience (across policy and billing life cycle).
- Minimum 2 years of testing experience preferably with Insurance Industry background.
- Previous testing experience - desired
