12 month contract with possibility of 12 month extension
- Up to $1200 daily rate (including super)

**The role**
Lead a team to work on a project that will help prevent, detect and respond to criminal abuse of the financial system. Protect the community from serious and organised crime. **About you**
You're an experienced hands-on Technical Lead & Java engineer with 5+ years of experience. You've developed full-stack Java implementations using message bus implementations (especially Kafka). You are able to provide strategic thinking, solutions and roadmaps and work with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike. You have experience building secure products that can scale from the ground up, and you value well optimised code and good user experience.

**Requirements**:
You must be an Australian citizen and able to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1 clearance

**The offer**
- daily rate up to $1200 per day including super
- possible 12 month extension
- hybrid working - work from home 3 days a week and 2 days in the Sydney OR Canberra office
