We now have an opportunity for a new Finance Officer - Accounts Receivable to join our head office finance team in the heart of Brisbane's CBD.

Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader your role will provide assistance in the financial functions of CPL in the receivable team.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Accurately and efficiently process invoices, receipts, payments, and transactions while ensuring compliance with guidelines.
- Process daily reconciliation of bank accounts promptly and accurately.
- Analyse and reconcile debtor accounts and proactively follow up for timely payments.
- Process journal entries, purchase orders, and other financial transactions

**About you**:
We are looking for someone that has:

- Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in an Accounts Receivable position within a large organisation with high transactional volume.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills and the ability to maintain a high degree of quality and accuracy.
- Ability to build good relationships with stakeholders.
- Understands that not everything will be in place yet and we're building the process together
- Keen to improve processes and efficiencies for the organisation.
- A team-player attitude and a love for problem-solving.
- A meticulous and highly organised approach.
- Embodies a proactive, “make it happen” attitude.
- Intermediate computing skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word and knowledge of financial accounting packages, Lumary/Technology One Systems would be an advantage.
