**About the Opportunity**:
We are currently looking for a Team Manager - Production to join us at our West Footscray manufacturing site. The primary focus of this role is to build a high performing team and consistently deliver the daily manufacturing plan.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will work with a team of up to 11 overseeing the delivery of the daily production plan working day shift 8-4pm.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Lead and motivate the operations teams
- Actively demonstrate “Never Walk By” and “Eliminate Waste' philosophies through your behaviours
- Prepare production plans to deliver supply performance, whilst minimising waste
- Manage direct labour plans to budget
- Drive improvements in line efficiencies and productivity
- Develop your team capability (training, coaching and mentoring)
- Champion and execute continuous improvements on the line
- Display a commitment to safety and quality compliance in all that you do

**To be successful in this role you will need**:

- Up to 5 yrs proven manufacturing experience but will look at recent engineering Graduate looking to build career in production management
- Related industry experience would be beneficial
- Bachelor's Degree in Sciences or Engineering.
