OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

You will help the IT leadership team in long term planning and bring your diverse technology experience to an Australian owned company with a deep customer and process bias.
- PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Be instrumental in helping Application and Project Managers orchestrate monitoring, observability, and security remediation work.
- Determine the specific needs and requirements for Dynatrace and Splunk, developing a plan for their implementation, coordinating with the relevant stakeholders, and overseeing the implementation process to ensure that it is successful and meets the desired outcomes.
- Be responsible for ensuring that Dynatrace and Splunk are used effectively and efficiently within the IT department. This involves providing training and support to the IT team, working with them to identify best practices for using the tools, and collaborating with other teams to ensure that the tools are integrated seamlessly into the department's standard operating procedures and workflows.
- Use your good instincts matched with deep analytical thinking to define and track key business and usage success metrics of Dynatrace and Splunk within TGE
- Relationship manage Dynatrace and Splunk and associated vendors including goal setting, KPI/SLA management, and executive reporting. Challenge vendor performance and identify gaps and areas of service improvement
- Demonstrate your thought leadership experience by helping Application and Project Managers co-ordinate across multiple streams of work with multiple teams and roadmaps
- Evangelise a single pane of glass approach to observability at enterprise scale through vision/strategy documents and internal/external technology talks and training
- Develop relevant capacity plans ensuring current and future requirements are met and aligned to Application demand
- Ensure a high level of customer service focus and responsiveness that ensures delivery as per service level agreements
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities within support and business processes to increase operational efficiency
- Undertake proactive troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues implementing preventative measures as appropriate
- Define and safeguard the quality of the software delivery lifecycle using the underpinning capabilities available in the Dynatrace and Splunk tool suite
- Development, implementation and management of support and testing processes and policies, maintaining support documentation as appropriate
- PRE-REQUISITES:

- Product or Project Management experience building enterprise software products and/or tech services and/or platforms
- Experience in ITSM, ITOPs, DevOps or related project/product management
- Understand cloud tech, IT and Dev environments
- Have written multiple vision/strategy documents and internal/external technology talks and training
- Have worked in large-scale collaborative companies across timezones
- Experience with enterprise IT org structures, buying/refresh/adoption cycles
