ANOTHEN Community Care is a Western Australian based provider. Our dedicated Disability Support Workers provide appropriate and effective supports and services to our clients. We are committed to providing clients with reliable, personalised, and professional services.

Our team understands that it is important for individuals to maintain independence, well-being, and freedom of choice. We work together to maintain our client’s dignity, self-esteem and positive outcomes. We are committed to maintaining individuals' quality of life, freedom, and choices.

**In this role you will support our clients with**:

- Assist in developing daily living skills.
- High Intensity Daily Personal Activities
- Social participation
- Meal preparation
- Transport to appointments and outings
- Household chores

**Applicants are required to demonstrate**:

- Clear and effective communications skills
- Well spoken and written English
- Available to work rosters including some weekends
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record management
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment to contribute to team goals
- Ability to problem solve and approach challenges with confidence
- Working mobile phone with access to internet data
- Valid drivers’ license, reliable car and car insurance for transporting clients

**Qualifications and training**
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR certificate
- Relevant qualifications - minimum certificate III in individual support or equivalent
- Medication skill set

**Pre-employment checks includes the following**
- NDIS workers screening check
- Working with children’s check
- at least 2 references

We are looking for reliable team members, who turn up on time and committed to supporting our clients.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $41.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Working with people with autism: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- NDIS workers screening (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
