An exciting opportunity has become available for an electrically biased Operational Technology/Control Systems Specialist within our Engineering & Operations team. The role will provide direct support to existing assets as well as having direct responsibility and accountability for ensuring the advancement of digitalisation at present and future assets.

**The Opportunity**

As the senior representative of ATCO based out of Perth, the Operational Technology Lead represents the go to person for both present and future OT hardware and software. Working closely with the IT team you will also play a pivotal role in digitalising the business through owning and leading the operational intelligence programs.

**What you will contribute to**:

- Provide technical support to power stations to ensure maximum life cycle performance, reliability and drive towards, or sustain, operational excellence.
- Develop capital plans to support plant operations & maintenance initiatives.
- Investigate, research, trouble shoot and recommend solutions for operational and maintenance problems, manage repairs as necessary
- Provide Satellite Technical Support model to effectively manage the interface between Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and Corporate Initiatives

**About you**:

- Strong experience in leading and supporting technical operations on control systems preferably within a utilities or power plant environment
- Experience in project management and technical leadership
- In-depth technical knowledge of PLC and SCADA operating systems
- A thorough understanding of health, safety, and environmental requirements
- Strong preference for A Grade Electrical License
- Hold a tertiary qualification in related engineering discipline or alternatively equivalent industry and operations experience
