Police Homecare Services is an independent disability and aged care service organisation in Adelaide, and we are an approved provider for NDIS participants.

Due to growth, we are currently looking for disability and aged care support workers who have a commitment to help and support people. You MUST be available for over 25 hours plus a week for causal roles. Reliability, a positive attitude, creativity, flexibility, and diligence are all very important aspects of your work. You will also need a current unrestricted Drivers Licence and a reliable vehicle.

**About the Role**

This is a job with responsibility to assist each client become as independent and valued as possible. We clean, cook, provide maintenance, garden, attend to personal care, provide support in social settings and support clients of all ages and disabilities. In cases where a client has specific needs we will provide you with the appropriate training.

We expect you to always put our client first, always keeping in mind your duty of care and confidentiality.

**Our Requirements**
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged or Disability) or suitable experience
- Must have a current DHS Working with Children and DHS Disability Screening (or NDIS Worker Screening).
- Must have a current First Aid Certificate, CPR and Manual Handling
- Must have a current Immunisation Certification including Flu and 2 COVID 19 vaccinations
- New worker NDIS worker induction module
- Quality, safety and you NDIS worker orientation module
- A commitment to encouraging individuals to achieve their aspirations and goals
- Clear fluent English and good communication skills
- Manual Handling
- Life experience

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $35.00 - $35.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

- Morning shift

- National Police Certificate (preferred)
