About the Business Unit
The Video Conferencing Coordination Unit (VCCU) supports the work of the Sentence Management Division within Corrections Victoria and is responsible for the coordination of all video conferences/Audio Visual Links (AVL) where a prisoner is involved, including but not limited to: court appearances (TeleCourt), conferences with legal representatives and court ordered assessments.

About the Role
The role of a Video Conferencing Officer
- Engage daily with numerous key stakeholder groups within Victoria's criminal justice system.
- Work within a fast-paced dynamic environment to coordinate successful scheduling outcomes for Victoria's prison video conferencing network.

The Video Conferencing Coordination Unit (VCCU) supports the work of the Sentence Management Division within Corrections Victoria and is responsible for the coordination of all video conferences/Audio Visual Links (AVL) where a prisoner is involved, including but not limited to: court appearances (TeleCourt), conferences with legal representatives and court ordered assessments.
Working closely with prison staff and senior stakeholders, including court registry staff and the legal profession, the Video Conferencing Officer is responsible for day to day liaison and scheduling of matters with relevant stakeholders including prison custodial and records staff, Court registry staff, legal professionals and external assessors and service providers. The Video Conferencing Officer assists in providing real-time service that ensures the use of video conferencing technology provides realisable efficiencies and enhancements across the system.
The VCCU operate on rotating fortnightly roster that adheres to current prison rostering principles and will require work between 7am-7pm Monday to Friday and 7am-4pm Saturday and Sunday.

Upon commencement of employment with the department you will be required to provide evidence that you have an up-to-date vaccination status within the timelines specified by the department into the DJCS Service Portal. This includes evidence of three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine required by the department (from time to time).

COVID-19 digital certificate(available via your myGov account)

Your immunisation history statement (available via your myGov account)

Other documentation outside the above will not be accepted as evidence of having received your COVID-19 vaccine doses.
