The Opportunity:
Komatsu is currently searching for a highly motivated HR Business Partner or Manager for a 1-year maternity leave contract. This is your time to shine and step up to a HR Manager

Located in Campbellfield you will be supporting our Southern region which includes Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.

As a member of our collaborative group, you will play a vital role in providing generalist HR support to the key stakeholders. You will also be responsible for business partnering, ensuring alignment between HR strategies and overall business objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that delivers exceptional service to our people, while also supporting the workforce and business within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide day-to-day support and HR advice, guidance and recommendations on operational and strategic HR initiatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify development needs and ensure successful training of employees in coordination with Talent Management
- Ensure that HR is a strategic partner to our business and involved in the decision-making process for HR related matters
- Work closely with leaders and all employees to improve work relationships, build morale, improve our culture and increase retention
- Ensure full compliance with local law and where needed, Consult with external/internal legal advisors as required

What we are looking for:

- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline
- Proven experience working with employment legislation, investigations, and performance case management
- Ability to create and collaborate effectively stakeholders at all levels of the business
- Proven experience in providing policy advice on workplace legislation and understanding of Enterprise Agreements, Awards, and employment-related legislation
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing, mining or resources environment is desirable however not essential
