We are seeking an exceptional Corporate General Manager to join our dynamic team in Melbourne and drive our mission-critical work in addressing rare cardiovascular diseases.

**About the Opportunity**

ESN Cleer is seeking an exceptional Corporate General Manager to join our leadership team in Melbourne. This is a pivotal senior executive role responsible for driving strategic direction, operational excellence, and organisational growth. Reporting directly to the CEO/Managing Director, you'll lead departmental managers and senior executives while overseeing all major business functions.

**Key Responsibilities**

Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement organisational policies, standards, and strategic objectives
- Lead strategic and operational planning, adapting to evolving business environments
- Drive business development initiatives including sales, marketing, and innovation

Operational Excellence
- Oversee daily operations ensuring alignment with strategic goals and regulatory compliance
- Direct departmental managers to achieve KPIs and optimise resource utilisation
- Lead change management and continuous improvement initiatives

Financial Management
- Prepare and present budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to executive leadership
- Authorise major funding decisions and drive sustainable growth strategies

People Leadership
- Select, manage, and develop senior staff to ensure high performance
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive work culture
- Oversee recruitment, retention, and performance management of key personnel

Stakeholder Engagement
- Represent ESN Cleer at official functions, negotiations, and industry forums
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

**What You'll Bring**

Essential Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 15 years' managerial experience, including 2+ years as Corporate General Manager or equivalent senior operational role
- Minimum of 10 years’ project delivery of large-scale projects ($10m+)
- Proven track record leading complex organisations with 10+ employees
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, financial management, and operational leadership
