A key component of ensuring Australians receive the highest level of health care involves managing education accreditation programs and member entry standards on a national basis. This body has built a high-quality and high-touch service offering that has continued to evolve and provide services to institutions and individuals.

With a sound business plan and long-term goals in place, they need a hands-on finance leader to manage the continued financial sustainability of the group, as demand in their industry continues to grow.

Leading one direct admin/accounts officer and managing revenue under $10m, you will balance providing strategic advice with:

- Financial reporting to key internal, and external stakeholders
- Managing budgets and providing performance advice
- Generating board packs and advising on financial strategies
- Leading investment and risk management practices
- Partnering external accountants and other advisors
- Ensuring systems integration in conjunction with IT team
- Managing payroll fortnightly (20 people plus casuals)
- Overseeing core HR requirements (starters, adjustments etc)
- Working closely with the CEO and ELT around strategy and projects

This opportunity would suit an experienced finance professional who is keen to be more than ‘just an accountant’. As part of an engaged and passionate service focused team, you will add value right across their business in this highly visible role.

You may be CPA/CA with health, service industry or NFP background, or perhaps keen to take your ‘corporate’ background into the health or a cause-driven organisation. Either way you will be keen to balance being ‘be in the numbers’ with contributing to long-term success.

Remuneration shall be circa $170k - $175 package including super (no PBI benefits). Hybrid office/work environment.
