Maintenance Fitter

**About the role**:
We are currently seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and experienced Fitter (mechanical) to join our maintenance team at InfraBuild Wire in** Newcastle**. The operational team is highly safety focused and process driven, with a positive team culture. This role offers on the job training for any knowledge gaps with permanent and stable employment, predominantly on a rotating shift.

**Shift Details include**:
**Hourly rate**: $43.98 - $49.37 + $21.45 tool allowance + shift allowance

**Key responsibilities for this role include**:

- Execution of preventative maintenance
- Breakdowns, fault finding and troubleshooting
- Overhauling fixed plant and operational equipment
- Provide feedback via the maintenance management system
- Compliance with quality and safety processes to complete all tasks
- Certificate III Mechanical Trade certificate OR Mobile Plant Technology OR equivalent
- Demonstrated experience overhauling fixed plant equipment
- Hydraulics and Pneumatics or post trade certificates are highly regarded
- SAP exposure, Effective verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong safety focus, can-do attitude
- Excellent fault finding and troubleshooting skills
- Forklift, and EWP tickets are highly regarded
