Planning and Investment Management section works closely with internal Health business areas to identify priorities and to assist with determining appropriate Information and Communication Technology (ICT) outcomes. Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- create and track service requests in accordance with agreed procedures and performance standards
- provide thorough triage, investigation and analysis of issues escalated by reviewing design and functional specification documentation, and attempting to replicate in lower environments
- assist in and/or be responsible for preparation and secretariat for meetings
- assist in preparation of ongoing reporting and preliminary assessments
- engage with stakeholders to understand their requirements, expectation and concerns
- work collaboratively to provide a responsive service function and contribute to the ongoing review and improvement of the function
- familiarise themselves with the functionality of the systems they support
- ensure service documentation including service templates, knowledge base articles, approval criteria, usability documentation etc. are maintained and updated as necessary
- show a dedication to service delivery excellence through an ongoing commitment to improving the level of support
- major incident management activities
- other duties as directed.
