**Healthy Minds is a psychology clinic and NDIS provider of behavior therapies and evidence-based supports**

**Practice Manager and Specialist Support Coordinator**

**Your Role** will be to assume the day-to-day running and development of the practice as well as pursue your own health, social work, psychology, or allied health profession to the extent you wish.

This is likely a 15 to the 20-hour-a-week role. While some tasks can be performed remotely, face-to-face meetings at the clinic and in client's homes will be necessary.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Recruit suitable staff to assume the different roles including psychology, behavior therapy, allied health, and disability support within a mental health context.
- Respond to new client inquiries.
- Coordinate staff and rosters for therapy in the clinic and behavior therapy in clients' homes.
- Book and confirm all appointments.
- Manage the website maintenance using contractors.
- Market the clinic to appropriate contacts.
- Develop budgets.
- Update and maintain financial controls (P&L, cash flow) using a bookkeeper.
- Implement client information management software using consultants as necessary.
- Maintain and where necessary develop practice policies and processes.
- Pay invoices and reconcile funds received (using the app and/or bookkeeper).
- Serve as point of contact liaising with staff & clients - this can be managed on-site and remotely.
- Ensure all NDIS reporting obligations are met.
- Help organize and coordinate special events (training, group treatment)
- It is expected that your professional practice will be pursued.
- Ensure the clinic environment is neat and Covid safe.

**You will**:

- Have a minimum of 5 years experience in a health-related professional and business administration/practice management/development role
- Have experience coordinating a team of professionals
- Possess excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Maintain a collegial style

- Provide ad hoc support for the principal

- Be financially numerate - some understanding of payments, invoicing and receipting
- Develop manage and drive KPIs for the clinic and staff

**Most highly regarded**:

- A degree in health or allied health, marketing, or business
- Knowledge of the NDIS
- Lived personal or family experience of disability - there is ground-level access to the clinic.

You will be required to obtain a Yellow Card, successfully complete online NDIS Worker Orientation and training modules, prior to employment.

Part-time hours: to 20 per week

**Expected Start Date: ASAP**

**Job Type**: full-time, part-time, casual, permanent

**Salary**: Negotiable around $75,000.00 per year

Schedule: Day shift

Supplemental pay types: depending on skills a performance bonus or income sharing may be negotiated.

Education: Bachelor's degree

Experience: Administrative experience: 3 years or mix of health-related professional and admin.

Certification: Blue and Yellow Card equivalents (working with children and people with disabilities police check)
