- In this Graduate Recruitment Consultant job in Melbourne, you will _
- be responsible for_:

- There’s account management so you’ll be flexing those influential bones of yours and of course, there’s a lot of calls with people looking for work
- Recruiting into an industry in a specific area of interest to you. Think tech to finance, healthcare, sustainability law, property. If it exists you can recruit for it
- Becoming an expert in your field and keeping tabs on industry hiring trends and news
- Attending client briefing calls (and meetings when possible) to understand the nature of the roles you are working on and strengthen business ties
- Identifying and researching new business prospects and working in conjunction with the business development efforts to further expand our network
- We're a small team in Melbourne, so you'll work closely with management and have heaps of opportunities to get involved in business decisions.

**Job requirements - Graduate Recruitment Consultant**
- A positive mindset and self-motivation. Passion over everything is a must
- Direct sales, phone sales, event sales or experience working in a busy client-centric environment. All sales skills are easily transferable to recruitment but rather than selling a product you will be winning new business and helping people find their dream job.
- Excellent time management and a high level of attention to detail
- Top communication skills - you get your energy from speaking with people
- Strong problem-solving skills - the ability to adapt and cope well with unexpected problems, to work through issues and around any objection
- High level of empathy - showing empathy creates great relationships - showing you understand their unique challenges and perspectives
- You also like to be financially rewarded for your natural people skills and have a strong interest in your personal finances.
