**About the opportunity**

We are looking for a highly motivated Quality Inspector to work in our world-class, brand new Kemps Creek warehouse and play a key role in our Engineering team.

Reporting to the IQC Manager, the key responsibilities of this role include:
**Key Duties**:

- Conduct visual, physical and testing inspections of incoming products from CPT, OPE,
FC and accessories.
- Utilize measurement tools, testing tools and techniques to assess quality specifications.
- Document inspection results, test results, and non-conformances according to IQC procedures
- Develop new product inspection test plans.
- Prepare detailed reports on findings and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist the QC Engineer with quality issues and non-conformities by identifying root causes and documenting findings.
- Work closely with local warehousing teams such as inbounds, inventory, storage teams to support IQC operations.
- Train and supervise staff for rework tasks to correct issues fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement
- Provide technical support during rework operations and troubleshooting

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Experience in quality control, quality inspection, or engineering
- Experience in specific industry, e.g. power tools, manufacturing, electronics
- Understanding the specific functions and capabilities of different power tools.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to notice small defects and discrepancies in products.
- Ability to identify quality issues and implement effective corrective actions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear verbal and written communication for reporting findings and collaborating with teams.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance
reports
- Ability to work well alongside colleagues and other departments such as Quality, engineering, PM
teams to address quality issues
