The Contract Manager will provide leadership and direction to Contract Management services including the establishment of GITC/QITC contracts and standing offer arrangements for Health Support Queensland. This position is also responsible for the management of service and maintenance agreements.

**Your key responsibilities include**:

- Maintaining the Contract Register for Information and Technology Services, including updating spend, work orders and the forward schedule of extensions.
- Advising on new procurement activities for IT Goods and Services.
- Ensuring new extensions and renewals are performed for existing contracts.
- Advising on variations to existing contracts.
- Organising and managing contract performance meetings, including reviewing vendor performance against contract terms.
- Preparing new work orders under existing contracts.
- Providing commercial advice to internal clients.
- Preparing briefs for procurements and contract extensions in accordance with eHealth Queensland policies and procedures.

To be successful you will need the following key competencies including:

- High level of knowledge and ability in contract planning, development, administration and management.
- Ability and success in the delivery of a supply/contracts service within a large multidisciplinary organisation, working across a diverse geographic region.
- High level communication, consultation and negotiation skills with ability to develop and refine relationships with clients and other key stakeholders.
- Leadership and supervisory skills; including, the ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing work environments.
- Demonstrated ability to focus strategically, understand eHealth Queensland's objectives and align operational activities accordingly. Demonstrated high level conceptual and analytical skills with the capacity to identify and analyse complex issues and develop quality procurement and contract options and strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead the development and implementation of procurement sourcing and contract management strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to provide impartial and forthright advice, challenge important issues constructively, persist and focus on achieving objectives even in difficult circumstances.
