**Our Family**:

- My partner and I have a 20 month old daughter and currently renting off of family in the great location of Leederville. We both work, him full time Monday to Friday and myself part time Monday to Wednesday and I also fortunately get to work from home. We recently tried daycare for our daughter upon returning to work from maternity leave, but sadly it hasn't been a good start for her there, especially with all of the illnesses that daycare brings, so we are very keen to have in home care for her instead. Our daughter is full of life, she loves to climb/explore/dance and loves a good giggle. She's learning to grow her vocabulary and loving copying everything we do. She is very independent and confident for such a young toddler. We also have a small dog at the house - but he has his own separate section of the house, which is away from where our carer and daughter would be. We have a lovely well sized two storey home in the heart of Leederville, I' work downstairs in one of the bedrooms, there's a dedicated play space upstairs and downstairs, as well as our front patio where our daughter loves to play with her sand table and toys My partner and I are both Australian, we are warm and friendly and reliable.

**Your Duties**:

- I certainly don't expect any housework to be done (apart from some general tidying of toys in the play spaces) I would love for the time to be spent playing with and entertaining my child whether that be at the house or nearby walkable parks and shops. I would also require our carer to feed our daughter breakfast and a pre-nap lunch (I will have pre made food available or options for what you can put together to give her easily), but you won't be required to put her to sleep. I'm happy to buy any supplies for activities you'd like to do with my daughter also.

**Our Perfect Caregiver**:

- Our ideal caregiver would be patient, loving and kind, and most importantly look to build a bond with our daughter over time. It would be great to have someone with experience looking after kids around my daughter's age. The hours we require are 7am-11.30am Monday to Wednesday, at least for 6 months of care at this stage with a very high likelihood of extension with longer hours as my daughter eventually drops her need for a midday nap. Once you're settled and if you're happy to, we also like to idea of being able to pay for some weekend care at times for my partner and I to spend time together - this is not a necessity, but a potential option if you're interested. We have an off street car space if you would like to drive to our house for the job, otherwise I know there are public transport options nearby also - whatever works for you
