Due to further expansion, Rutledge Family Medical Centre is seeking additional part-time and full-time administration/reception staff. The practice comprises of 14 GPs & GP Obstetricians, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 6 Nurses & varied allied health professionals.

Full time roles have the opportunity to be worked over 4 days.

Responsibilities include:

- Prepare the practice for opening and closing each day
- Facilitate patient consultations - appointment scheduling and reminders, information to patient to prepare for consultation, ensuring results and reports are available
- Facilitate service payments - collection of information, processing invoices and receipts
- Maintain data and information in the practice software, including incoming and outgoing correspondence by all modes, generation of reports as directed
- Maintenance of general tidiness and cleanliness of all rooms
- Reconciliation of invoices and payments for banking
- Check and order stationery and office supplies

Desirable skills and experience include:

- Experience in private medical practice in Australia in an administrative role
- Customer service skills
- Written and verbal skills to effectively communicate with a diverse range of people
- Attention to detail
- Time management skills
- Professional presentation
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A working knowledge of Best Practice software (or similar)
- General practice experience will be advantageous.

Remuneration $25 - $28/hour depending on experience.
