About the Role
Liberty Industrial is seeking an experienced and highly skilled HSEQ Advisor (FIFO 2/1) from QLD (Brisbane or Mackay preferrable) to oversee health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) initiatives on major projects in QLD.
The Opportunity
Our upcoming large-scale decommissioning and remediation projects will be undertaken in challenging site environments and will encompass:

- The safe removal of hazardous materials.
- Deconstruction of infrastructure.
- Strict adherence to environmental and safety regulations.

As the HSEQ Advisor, you will be developing and implementing safety and quality initiatives, ensuring a safe working environment, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of HSEQ policies and management systems.
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Support compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
- Work collaboratively with project managers, supervisors, and stakeholders to align HSEQ objectives.
- Provide guidance and support on all project-related HSEQ matters.
- Assist in the development of training programs to enhance workforce safety awareness and competency.

Your Background
- Minimum of 3 years of HSEQ experience in mining, oil & gas, or civil sectors
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS) & White Card
- Incident Management experience and qualification
- Demonstrated experience in supporting and promoting HSEQ initiatives
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to conduct incident investigations and risk assessments
- Understanding of HSEQ management systems and compliance frameworks
