We are currently seeking a
**HSEQ Advisor** to join the team of an Australian Owned construction company. In addition to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement to boost health, safety, environment, and quality performance, this job will be accountable for working with our clients’ on-site teams to ensure the implementation and adoption of the company's HSEQ systems.

**You Responsibilities will be**:

- Administration and management of the company’s safety management system.
- Ensuring site safety plans are compliant with statutory regulations and effectively communicated and implemented.
- Liaising with project team members for subcontractor management including SWMS reviews.
- Discuss, monitor, and assist the workforce in the safe delivery of on-site activities.
- Providing on-site expertise and advise for all work health and safety matters.
- Completing weekly safety audits and closing out actions.
- Incident reporting and investigations.
- Conducting site-specific inductions.
- Participating in the daily pre-start meetings.
- Provide HSEQ advice to all personnel including Site Managers, Project Managers and Subcontractors.

**About you**:
You will gain extensive knowledge of managing environmental and quality restrictions on building sites, as well as experience with construction site safety. You'll take a proactive, pragmatic, and collaborative attitude. Your previous experience associated with Commercial and Residential Highrise construction projects and your knowledge with management systems, codes of conduct, and legal requirements will be your success in this role.

**Skills and experience**:

- Minimum of Certificate IV - Workplace Health and Safety.
- Demonstrated significant experience in a similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction-specific legislation and Codes of Practice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
