**Our Opportunity**

Reporting to the HSEQ manager you will be responsible for providing practical, hands-on HSEQ support for our staff in QLD, NSW and ACT.

This opportunity is suited to an individual looking to step-up to a role with a national company. You have an opportunity to be involved in the day to day and well as strategic initiatives to influence the overall culture. It would ideally suit a vibrant, outgoing person with experience in working with staff in the field as well as engaging with management in a professional manner.

**Key responsibilities**
- Support staff with their day-to-day HSEQ requirements
- Deliver in-house training and conduct regional toolboxes as required
- Assist the HSEQ manager maintain and develop the ISO accredited management systems
- Conduct internal HSE Audits and site visits across the regions
- Develop and maintain site and subcontractor HSEQ Management Plans and Project Risk Assessments
- Communicate changes in HSEQ legislation to management and report to statutory authorities when required
- Manage return to work cases in your regions if required
- Assist in the development and execution of the HSEQ strategy for the company

**About You**
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety, Environment
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar HSEQ position
- A current Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
- A team player with an enthusiastic personality and a collaborative approach
- Demonstrated experience in leading internal audits /investigations in HSE and Quality
- Working understanding of ISO 45001, 14001 & 9001, Safety, Environment and Quality systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal skills
