Under the direction of the Associate Manager Quality Assurance, you will have the opportunity to gain a broad range of experience across quality assurance, food production and regulatory compliance within a modern food manufacturing facility. The Quality Control Inspector is involved in the daily sampling & testing of food production, conducting food safety checks, and verifying regulatory & quality records.

Role Responsibilities
In process testing of food production and reporting of test results
Participation in GMP audits and pre-start inspections
Investigate issues with ingredients and packaging that are impacting production performance
Issue, inspect, and file production and quality paperwork
Set up and participate in daily product sensory panels
Provide assistance during trials and first production runs of new products
Technical Skills & Experience Required
Some experience in laboratory work is beneficial
A sound understanding of HACCP principles and GMP
BSc. University degree in Food Science/Technology or related discipline
Good communication skills to communicate with different groups of key stakeholders
Ability to multi-task and prioritize own workload
Ability to problem solve in a production environment
