Initial 8-month labour hire opportunity in Woden, Canberra. IT based project coordination within a key Branch.

**Your new company**
This well-known Federal Government Department is based in Woden, Canberra and responsible for the development and delivery of policies and programs to ensure better services for all Australians. They are seeking an APS6 or EL1 Project Coordinator to join one of their teams who has received additional funding to modernise the Customer Relationship Manager program whilst reporting to the Director.

**Your new role**
- Interpreting complex or technical information and breaking it down into an easy-to-understand language for a broader audience.
- Undertaking research and developing recommendations to support evidence-based project planning and decision making.
- Scheduling and reporting on the project while organising workshops and meetings as part of the discovery stage.
- Coordinating resources, managing and forecasting budgets, meeting minutes and ensuring outcomes are achieve on time, within budget and within the agreed scope and time frame.
- Establishing and fostering stakeholder relationship through effective communication, negotiation and issue management and ensure project deliverables are met.
- Supporting procurement and contracting processes.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful for this position you will have previous experience within the Federal Government. You will also be a resilient individual who has initiative, highly developed organisational and time management skills, the ability to prioritise workloads and competing priorities within a dynamic team environment, relationship and stakeholder management experience and strategic problem-solving skills.

While not essential, you will be Prince 2 or Agile Certified at a fundamental level and have experience with health systems or working with Whole-of-Government frameworks.

To be considered for this role you will need to be an Australian citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher.
