**The Company**:
Our client is a well-established &P/ASX 300 listed business currently running around 5000 people nationwide. They are essential network service specialists who Design, construct, operate and maintain telecommunications, utilities and transport.

The Workforce Planning role's purpose is to ensure that the business has an adequate supply of people with the correct skills, knowledge and experience required to achieve its strategic objectives efficiently and effectively to perform the work tasks required, both in the short and long-term.

**Role responsibilities**:

- Preparing and producing work volume and staffing forecast dashboards, as well as comparative data on results vs. forecasts
- Identify opportunities for improvement and recommends solutions
- Identify and manage issues and gaps in resourcing, incorporating the business as usual (BAU) and strategic initiatives in planning and resourcing and supporting ongoing operational efficiencies and improvements
- Inform and monitor attendance and scheduling of training both formal and informal to ensure required service levels are maintained consistently whilst enabling an environment of continuous improvement
- Review and manage all employee contact across all channels to identify issues and gaps and highlight impact and solutions to resolve
- Maintain a sound knowledge of industry workforce planning developments including worldwide best practices, new
process/system developments, staff engagement and new products and software.

**About you**:

- 5+ years in payroll, rostering/scheduling or workforce planning
- Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent education desired
- Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation, best practices and experience managing employee relations matters. IR experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong leadership experience, the ability to influence change through collaboration and influence people’s behaviours and actions to achieve business outcomes.
- Strong business acumen complimented by being comfortable working with ambiguity and dynamic environments.
- Experience in leading cultural change and genuine care for our people.
