**The Opportunity***
The Boeing Airpower Teaming System (ATS) is a globally-significant program that will deliver a disruptive advantage in airborne missions. Developed in partnership with the Royal Australian Air Force, the MQ-28A Ghost Bat is the first military combat aircraft to be designed, manufactured and assembled in Australia in 50 years. Enabled by autonomous capabilities, the aircraft will fly alongside other platforms to team with existing crewed and uncrewed assets.
We are seeking a talented individual with significant experience in military aircraft operations and airworthiness to join the program as our MQ-28A Flight Operations Liaison and Regulations Focal. As the MQ-28A Flight Operations Liaison and Regulations Focal, the successful applicant will liaise directly with the Military Air Operator (MAO) and the core ATS program airworthiness lead on operational airworthiness activities to ensure compliance with Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR) for MQ-28A operations.
We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator who can engage and motivate diverse and geographically dispersed teams. We operate in a matrixed environment, which gives you a unique experience to affect how the team works, how the team grows, how they are developed and how we achieve the business goals and strategy. We are looking for someone who is team oriented, influential and likes a challenge.
**Responsibilities***
- Work with the Military Air Operator (MAO) to ensure Defence Aviation Safety Regulation (DASR) UAS compliance for UASOP activities
- Liaise with MQ-28A Airworthiness Lead and provide Operational input into Airworthiness Working Group.
- Engage and liaise with Defence Aviation Safety Authority (DASA) DAVN Ops to ensure UAS regulatory compliance for MQ-28A Operations with a focus on Operational Airworthiness.
- Subject matter expert (SME) to lead the Uncrewed Aircraft System Operating Permit (UASOP) Planning sub-working group
- Update MQ-28A UASOP Plan when deemed required through liaison with relevant stakeholders
- Provide Flight Operations inputs into the MQ-28A Certification Program Plan, including aspects such as equipment carriage requirements, airspace integration, operational risk management, provide inputs to Airworthiness Issue Papers (AwIPs) etc
- Liaise with MAO for planning and executing Defence MQ-28A Airworthiness Boards
- Airworthiness orders, instructions, publications (OIP) development for MQ-28A operations
- Key contact for crew training and qualification requirements,
- Provide operational representation on Human Factors Working Group, as required.
- Facilitate very strong, collaborative working relationships between Commonwealth and Industry extended stakeholders, underpinned by a high level of trust and communication.
**Experience/Qualifications**
- Experience documenting Military Air Operator Compliance,
- Familiarity with UAS specific regulations, airspace integration principles and emerging regulations would be highly regarded,
- Previous experience preparing material for and presenting at Airworthiness Boards
- Previous exposure to operational test and evaluation in a military context would also be highly regarded,
- High level communication (written and oral) and negotiation skills to facilitate open interaction between key internal and external stakeholders. Ability to engage and motivate diverse and geographically dispersed teams.
- Experience liaising with DAVNOPS or flight operations department of another military airworthiness regulator,
- Experience working in a highly collaborative environment, and building close customer and executive team relationships through trust and open communication.
- Working exceptionally well in a team environment with outstandin
