About the role
The Principal Project Officer First Nations Health Equity will lead small and large-scale projects that target improvements in service delivery.
About you
- High level analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to proactively identify and mange risks and issues with the ability to challenge issues constructively.
- Proven track record of taking personal responsibility for meeting objectives and progressing projects, monitoring and reporting progress against milestones, actively managing the change process, and managing competing priorities and adjusting plans as required.
- Ability to anticipate and manage the concerns and expectations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders and use high level negotiation and communication skills to achieve a mutually beneficial outcome that is consistent with the WMH First Nations Health Equity agenda
- Intermediate to advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Project to prepare reports, presentations and Gantt Charts, collate data and analyse information
**Mandatory Requirements**:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
