The role As a Principal Project Officer, you will play a pivotal role in the leadership of cancer screening programs by spearheading the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of participation initiatives. Employing effective project management and change management techniques, methodologies, and tools, you will ensure the successful delivery of cancer screening initiatives, incorporating benefits realization and comprehensive risk and issue management.
Your responsibilities extend to providing authoritative advice to both internal and external stakeholders through adept written and oral communication skills, encompassing correspondence, departmental briefings, and ministerial reports. Additionally, you will lead collaborative efforts and co-design activities aimed at enhancing the quality of cancer screening through partnerships with relevant internal and external stakeholders. Your role involves proactively identifying improvement opportunities and formulating recommendations to enhance policies, systems, and processes in alignment with both state and national requirements.
Furthermore, your track record should reflect exceptional written and oral communication skills, showcasing the ability to produce timely, accurate, responsive, and well-organized briefings, reports, and presentations. Your demonstrated history should emphasize your capacity to lead projects within the context of health promotion/public health and provide adept professional support and leadership to relevant stakeholders.
