The Institute of Allied Health is a private RTO providing Higher Education specialising in the delivery of external education programs in counselling, community services, financial counselling, and various business courses. **About the role**

Reporting to the Training Manager, your key responsibilities would include:
**Student Support**
- Answering education and study enquiries regarding education requirements of the vocational training programs and counselling industry queries;
- Providing support and guidance to students who require additional assistance, such as those who have received Not Yet Competent (NYC) results on their assessment items, students with special learning requirements and those who require Language, Literacy and Numeracy assistance.

**Assessing Student Work**
- Assessing written workbooks and practice items from the courses within required timeframes and according to benchmark standards.
- Provide a sufficient amount of feedback on each assessment item.
- Conducting joint assessments with other assessors who are in training.

**Professional Development & Team Collaboration**
- Writing articles, case studies, publications when needed ; Proofreading training material prior to publication and print
- Participate in team meetings
- Maintaining industry currency
- Assisting in the development of training material

**About You**
- Minimum education level of a Diploma in Allied Health Services or a related field, however, degree level qualifications in Allied Health services or a related field are preferable
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or willingness to obtain within 3 months of employment - AIPC will cover cost of course)
- A minimum 2 years of recent Allied Health work experience (voluntary or paid)
- Well-developed communication & interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- High Computer literacy and Microsoft Office skills
