**About the Role**

Reporting to the Head Group Pricing ANZ, and as part of the regional team, you will provide actuarial support to price, develop and monitor group risk business. You will be a key team member in projects for clients, able to work independently, as well as operate within client focussed cross functional teams.

Your main responsibilities will include, however, are not limited to:
- Conducting pricing reviews for existing business and to tender for new business;-
- Contributing to developing innovative solutions to meet client needs;- Managing the development of generic pricing bases, pricing tools and models;- Maintaining up to date knowledge of actuarial practices and trends;- Monitoring local market intelligence, trends and developments (company, product, industry-wide);- Building relationships with clients, through participating in pricing and product discussions; and- Supporting the development and presentation of thought leadership.

The ANZ Life & Health Group Pricing team is a highly engaged team of actuaries and analysts who take pride in our market and technical expertise. Using a disciplined approach, we continue to build on our strengths and innovate to deliver value to our clients and Swiss Re.

**About You**

An energetic and broad minded critical thinker, who is on the actuarial education pathway with:
- Experience working in the life insurance industry. Primary life insurance experience is strongly preferred;- Experience in group insurance pricing or reserving is preferred;- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;- Interest in personal and professional development of self and others;- Ability to work to deadlines; and- Self-motivation and independent thinking.

You will also enjoy team collaboration and contributing to the broader team on local and global business initiatives
