**The Opportunity**

Pet parents across Australia have come to love Pet Circle for a lot of reasons. One of the main reasons is our affordable prices across our incredible range of products, the largest pet supplies range in Australia.

We are looking for a Pricing Analyst to join the team at Pet Circle to deliver on our Pricing strategy. You will ensure that our customers are paying the best price in the market for the products they love to buy This will entail daily price comparisons, updating prices on our website, coordinating promotions with Marketing and Category Managers, and working alongside the Senior Pricing Analyst to deep dive into transactional data to surface commercial insights.

This is an entry-level position, a great role for someone either fresh out of Uni or with a couple of years of experience to join a fast-growing Australian e-commerce Unicorn.

**You Responsibilities**:

- Actively manage Pet Circle pricing by reviewing our competitors’ pricing (you will ensure we are offering competitive pricing on our products)
- Have strong knowledge of our key competitor's pricing activities and maintain a calendar to monitor competitor activities
- Support the administration and management of our Pet Circle Pricing Tool (such as adding new SKUs)
- Feedback on the performance of Pet Circle’s pricing activities to show how we compare in the market
- Work directly with our Category Managers to inform them of competitor pricing changes and help support promotional efforts
- Support Customer Service with any pricing-related issues that our customers raise
- Report any website or tool bugs or anomalies to our data team to ensure they are resolved quickly
- Assist the team in developing pricing analysis, new product pricing and assortment analysis to surface commercial insights
- Perform analysis to understand the performance of promotions and identify opportunities for improvement
- Continuous identification of opportunities to improve our Pricing processes

**Your Ideal Skills and Experience**:

- Graduate degree ideally in Business, Finance, Economics, or Marketing
- Strong computer skills having worked with Excel, G-Suite (Gmail, Google Sheets etc.) You might also have worked with customer databases or similar tools previously
- Work effectively in a team environment and being comfortable with feedback
- Numerate critical thinker, able to collate and analyse large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data and provide actionable outputs
- Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, prioritise and multitask
- Exceptional attention to detail
- A customer-focused and common sense-led approach to working; you will be able to anticipate pricing-related questions from pet parents
- Continuous improvement mindset; you are always finding ways to improve processes and ways of working

**Role Location**
- Your hours will be Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm_. At Pet Circle, we believe that collaboration and team connection is key for success. This role will be based in Sydney with a blended working arrangement of 3+ days in our pet-friendly CBD offices and the remainder working from home (or the office, if you prefer)
