**About CME**:
Client Management and Execution (CME) is the Centre of Credit & Execution Excellence within Corporate Finance, and the broader Corporate & Institutional Banking (C&IB) business. CME teams work closely with C&IB Coverage and Product teams to manage the C&IB customer portfolios, prepare financial, ESG and credit analysis, and execute complex large value transactions across the full suite of banking products.

The team has highly professional Portfolio and Execution specialists across Australia, UK, USA and Asia covering the broad spectrum of Corporate & Institutional businesses, delivering a wide range of financial solutions for our customers. CME aims to drive C&IB’s performance by leveraging its diverse talent and meaningful insights, with an objective to optimise the bank's available capital. **About the role**:
Reporting to the Director, CME (Resources & Commodities), you’ll be part of a dynamic and high performing team that undertakes financial analysis, credit, portfolio management and deal execution for Natural Resources and Commodity clients.

Working closely with two Client Coverage Directors, you will assist with the management of a portfolio of existing Resources customers, managing the ongoing reporting requirements and project work and assisting with work associated with pivot towards decarbonisation metals with a particular focus on copper, nickel and lithium.

In this role you’ll have an opportunity to build your credit/analytical/financial modelling and deal structuring skills, develop client relationships, and play a key role in driving superior client outcomes. You’ll also assist our clients and stakeholders in shaping their strategy to meet their ESG commitments, including transition pathways to net zero carbon emissions by 2050.

**Key responsibilities will include but not limited to**:

- Holistic analysis of our client’s business and risk profiles across financial, operational, market and ESG risks, via preparation of high-quality credit submissions.
- Financial modelling and analysis of corporate and structured debt transactions including project finance and M&A.
- Conducting research and analysis to develop industry/sector expertise and assisting Client Coverage and Structured and Acquisition Finance (SAF) Directors including preparation of pitch materials.
- Attendance and participation in client meetings and development of client relationships.
- Portfolio management including product support, limit management, customer annual reviews and ensuring system data and information integrity is maintained to the highest standards for the portfolio.
- Proactively managing risk; maintaining an ongoing awareness of NAB’s credit policy, credit and market risk and internal risk appetite.
- Workflow management between Client Coverage, CME, Product Partners and client support teams, to achieve seamless client experience.
- Monitoring all facility documentation terms and conditions, including covenants, and assist with managing legal documentation processes.
- Providing guidance/coaching to graduates or interns where required.

**About you**:
The successful applicant will have relevant work experience from a banking, advisory, consultancy, fund or within a resources company. You’ll be tertiary qualified in Finance, Engineering or Law (or related discipline), be developing your financial analysis and writing skills, as well as having a working understanding of financial markets and the legal and regulatory environment. Natural Resources Industry experience in a technical role (geology, engineering, or metallurgy) will be viewed favourably where this has been coupled with financial skills. Progress towards or completion of a post-graduate qualification such as graduate diploma, masters, CFA, CA, or CPA accreditation would be highly regarded.
