STAIRLOCK are one of Australia's largest staircase companies. We make stairs well. In fact, it’s all we do. We make, supply, and install a wide range of staircases and stair parts throughout Australia. We design smart stairs that bring together form and function. Delivered swiftly, solidly made, and great value to ensure the right fit for every project.
STAIRLOCK is a family-owned business that has been in the staircase industry for over 30 years. We have state of the art machinery in our purpose-built manufacturing plant at the new Lionsgate Business Park in South Australia, with STAIRLOCK sales and installation teams operating in Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney.
We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to support our accelerated growth in South Australia.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Development of business plans and sales strategies for the assigned territory
- Prepare and implement customer call cycle plan that secures existing and new business
- Achievement of sales budget for the assigned territory
- Preparing sales quotations and achieving budgeted conversion rates
- Developing and communicating monthly forecast and reporting to management
- Continuously improving customer relationships and securing new customer business
- Training and educating customers on technical product benefits and range of products
**Skills and Experiences**:
Value you will bring to the role
- Proven track record in building construction materials sales (or related industries)
- Passion for selling high quality products to the residential building sector
- Demonstrated expertise in managing and growing business with existing customers
- New business development capability, pitching & winning business skills
- Existing network connections within the building industry in Victoria
- Excellence in presentation and communication skills with all levels of management
- Know how with CRM and commercial estimating systems
