**Job Description**:
Seeking our next People Advisor Champion
We are looking for an experienced People Advisor professional to join us as we continue to help this fast moving business evolve on a 12 month fixed term contract. With this opportunity comes the challenges of providing generalist, day-to-day HR support, and advising managers and employees in the Shipping business.
Of course, being a seasoned HR generalist, you will have no problem in conducting recruitment activities, coordinating cyclical employee related processes, and will work closely with the GM, People and the Senior HR Business Partner to support organisational change project deliverables.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate cyclical employee processes including the annual performance review process, annual remuneration reviews, and the employee engagement survey
- End-to-end recruitment for non-executive positions
- Establish collaborative relationships with operational managers and senior management to understand business requirements
- Maintain employee files and details in ELMO - cloud based HRIS
- Work closely with the Payroll Specialist to ensure employee details are correct, up to date and in line with Payroll requirements

The role requires someone driven, passionate, organised, and tenacious. The People Advisor will have strong communication and influencing skills with a desire to continuously learn and grow their skillsets.
- 2+ years of experience in a HR Support, HR Shared Services, or internal recruitment role
- Diploma level qualification in HR (or similar) is a minimum requirement
- Experience using HR Information Systems to maintain employee details and generate HR reports - ELMO preferred
- Experience working with Enterprise Agreements - blue collar environment preferred but not essential
- Excellent verbal, listening, written and communication skills
