The Gardening Team Member plays an important part in ensuring the nursery is well cared for, safe and enjoyable for all customers.

More broadly, we believe an inspiring and welcoming garden contributes to community wellbeing.

Key responsibilities:

- Garden projects: Using vision, creativity and some project and budgeting management, consult with manager to plan and build garden beds, paths, and other garden features.
- Garden equipment: Bringing a good dose of responsibility, ensure tools and equipment are properly checked, used and stored, with particular attention to ensuring they are maintained in safe working order at all times.
- Knowledge and experience in plants, soils, seasonal maintenance and small gardening projects is advantageous
- Confident using and caring for gardening tools and equipment
- Level of fitness to undertake gardening activities, including digging and lifting soil
- Good communication skills, both listening to and conveying information/ideas/suggestions
