At L’épi Artisan Bakery, we believe that great marketing is as much an art as our handcrafted breads and pastries. We’re looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager to take ownership of our brand presence, drive customer engagement, and boost sales across our multiple locations; no agencies, no work from home, just passionate collaboration within our team.

About the Role:
You will lead all marketing initiatives, from digital campaigns to in-store promotions, ensuring our brand remains vibrant and visible in the Canberra community. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves creativity, and understands the rhythm of hospitality.

You’ll also be responsible for organising our participation in two of Canberra’s key annual events, the Balloon Festival and Floriade Festival, ensuring L’épi stands out and connects with thousands of potential customers. Additionally, you’ll actively seek collaborations with local businesses, as we strongly value community partnerships and believe in growing together.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive foot traffic, online orders, and brand loyalty.
- Manage and grow our presence across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Oversee content creation using Canva, ensuring alignment with our brand identity.
- Utilise Marsello to manage loyalty programs and targeted customer campaigns.
- Maintain and update our Wix website and manage online ordering through Bopple and Uber Eats.
- Organise and coordinate our presence at major events like the Balloon Festival and Floriade Festival.
- Proactively seek and establish collaborations with other local businesses to strengthen community ties and cross-promotional opportunities.
- Collaborate with operations using tools like Asana, Trello, and Deputy to align marketing with business goals.
- Monitor performance metrics and generate reports to track campaign success.
- Coordinate in-store promotions and ensure cohesive branding across all locations.
- Support internal communication regarding promotions, using our proprietary ordering system and Lightspeed integrations.

About You:

- Proven experience in marketing, ideally within retail, hospitality, or FMCG.
- Strong understanding of social media management and digital marketing tools.
- Creative flair with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Excellent organisational skills, especially in event coordination and partnership building.
- Passionate about community engagement and local business collaboration.
- Comfortable working across multiple platforms and juggling varied tasks.
- A team player who enjoys being on-site and collaborating daily.
- Familiarity with our tools (Wix, Canva, Marsello, Lightspeed, etc.) is highly regarded.
