An exciting opportunity is available at Australian Unity's **Willandra Village Retirement Community** located in **Cromer**. We have a vacancy for a Permanent Full-Time Maintenance assistant / Handyperson to join our friendly team. Work in a role where you will feel appreciate

**The role**

Providing a range of general maintenance and building maintenance duties such as:

- Developing and implementing a preventative, proactive and reactive maintenance program
- Delivering a high level of service to residents, visitors, contractors, and staff
- Maintenance of the shared spaces, ensuring a high standard of presentation
- Working within health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff, reporting hazards where appropriate

**About you**
- Previous maintenance experience (trade background/qualifications is preferred but not essential)
- Knowledge of OHS requirements with a strong resident and safety focus
- A service, solution, and preventative approach with strong customer service skills
- Computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft suite and asset management/ordering systems
- Availability to work on a full time basis
- A driver’s licence and access to a reliable car
- Previous experience in a Retirement Community, Aged Care, or hotel environment an advantage but not essential
- Fully vaccinated for COVID 19, including the Booster and Influenza
